Regulations for Obtaining RKF Titles

All the certificates are assigned and all the titles are issued only to the dogs who have RKF pedigrees or pedigrees, recognized by RKF. All the titles listed below are included in RKF Stud book and entered into the certificate of origin (RKF pedigree) of all the respected dog’s offspring.

 

 

I. THE TITLES, ISSUED ON THE BASIS OF THE SET OF CERTIFICATES

 

Titles issued for all the breeds:

 

RUSSIAN CHAMPION (CH RUS)

To obtain RUSSIAN CHAMPION title it is necessary:

  • For the dogs, registered in RKF Stud book: 4 САС certificates, awarded by 4 different judges at RKF CAC or/and CACIB dog shows; there must be at least one year interval between the first and the last CAC. The interval between the first and the last CAC is not required if:

– the dog has a RUSSIAN JUNIOUR CHAMPION title;

– the dog has 4 CAC certificates, awarded by 4 different judges only at CACIB dog shows;

– the dog has 6 CAC certificates awarded by 6 different judges.

Special conditions:

– for the dogs who have the certificates of “Eurasia Winner” or “Russian Winner”, for obtaining the title of Russian Champion it is sufficient to get 1 CAC awarded  by a different judge at any RKF CAC or CACIB dog show. A one year interval between “Eurasia Winner” or “Russian Winner” certificate and CAC certificate is not required;

– at the international dog shows “Russia”, “RKF President’s Cup”, “Eurasia”, “RKF Cup”, “Mazover Memorial”, “Moscow Cup”, a CAC certificate is equal to 2 CAC certificates, R.CAC is equal to CAC. On issuing Russian Champion title on the basis of two double CAC certificates a one year interval between the first and the second certificates is not required.

 

  • For the dogs, registered in Stud books of other FCI countries, or AKC, KC, CKC: 1 САС certificate, awarded at any RKF CAC or CACIB dog show and a national champion certificate/diploma of the country of residence, in case this country issues titles to Russian champions on the basis of 1 CAC certificate; and 2 CAC certificates awarded by two different judges at any RKF CAC or CACIB dog shows and a national champion certificate/diploma of the country of residence, if the country does not issue the titles to Russian Champions on the basis of one CAC certificate (if the title is issued on the basis of 2 CAC certificates a one year interval between the first and the second certificate is not required). If a dog does not have a national champion diploma of the country of residence, it obtains Russian Champion title according to the standard procedure.

 

R.CAC is equal to CAC, if it is awarded after the dog than has an executed Russian Champion title. Besides, while issuing Russian Champion title 2 R.CAC certificates may be counted as 1 CAC certificate (only once).

For the dogs, awarded their first CAC certificate before 31.12.2018, on their owners’ wish the titles may be issued according both to the old regulations and to the new regulations. For the dogs, awarded the first CAC certificate after 01.01.2019, the titles are issued only according to the new regulations.

 

RUSSIAN JUNIOR CHAMPION (JCH RUS)

To obtain RUSSIAN JUNIOR CHAMPION title it is necessary:

  • For the dogs, registered in RKF Stud book: 3 JCAC certificates, awarded by 3 different judges at RKF CAC or/and CACIB dog shows.

Special conditions: at the international dog shows “Russia”, “RKF President’s Cup”, “Eurasia”, “RKF Cup”, “Mazover Memorial” a JCAC certificate is equal to 2 JCAC certificates, R.JCAC is equal to JCAC certificate.

  • For the dogs, registered in the Stud books of other FCI countries, or AKC, KC, CKC: 1 JСАС certificate, awarded at any RKF CAC or CACIB dog show and a national junior champion certificate/diploma of the country of residence. The dogs that don’t have a national junior champion diploma of the country of residence, obtain Russian Junior Champion title according to the standard procedure.

 

R.JCAC is equal to JCAC, if it is awarded after the dog than has an executed Russian Junior Champion title. Besides, while issuing Russian Junior Champion title 2 R.JCAC certificates may be counted as 1 JCAC certificate (only once).

The diplomas are issued according to the present regulations starting from 01.01.2019.

JCAC certificates awarded before 31.12.2018 are considered.

 

RUSSIAN VETERAN CHAMPION (VCH RUS)

  • For the dogs, registered in RKF Stud book: 3 VCAC certificates, awarded by 3 different judges at RKF CAC or/and CACIB dog shows.

Special conditions: at the international dog shows “Russia”, “RKF President’s Cup”, “Eurasia”, “RKF Cup”, “Mazover Memorial” a VCAC certificate is equal to 2 VCAC certificates, R.VCAC is equal to VCAC certificate.

  • For the dogs, registered in the Stud books of other FCI countries, or AKC, KC, CKC: 1 VСАС certificate, awarded at any RKF CAC or CACIB dog show and a national veteran champion certificate/diploma of the country of residence. The dogs that don’t have a national veteran champion diploma of the country of residence, obtain Russian Veteran Champion title according to the standard procedure.

 

R.VCAC is equal to VCAC, if it is awarded after the dog than has an executed Russian Veteran Champion title. Besides, while issuing Russian Veteran Champion title 2 R.VCAC certificates may be counted as 1 VCAC certificate (only once).

The diplomas are issued according to the present regulations starting from 01.01.2019. In the period starting from 05.06.2018 to 31.12.2018 diplomas with “excellent 1, CW” awarded in veteran class are recognized along with VCAC certificates.

 

RKF CHAMPION (CH RKF)

To obtain RKF CHAMPION title it is necessary:

  • Variant 1. 1 CH RKF certificate.
  • Variant 2. 3 “Champion of Federation” (CHF) certificates issued by 3 different federations; the certificates should be awarded at least by two different judges.

 

RKF JUNIOR CHAMPION (JCH RKF)

To obtain RKF JUNIOR CHAMPION title it is necessary:

  • Variant 1. 1 JCH RKF certificate;
  • Variant 2. 2 “Junior Champion of Federation” (JCHF) certificates issued by 2 different federations;

The certificates should be awarded by different judges.

 

RKF VETERAN CHAMPION (VCH RKF)

To obtain RKF VETERAN CHAMPION title it is necessary:

  • Variant 1. 1 VCH RKF certificate;
  • Variant 2. 2 “Veteran Champion of Federation” (VCHF) certificates issued by 2 different federations;

The certificates should be awarded by different judges.

 

PRODUCER CHAMPION (PRCH RUS)

To obtain the title of PRODUCER CHAMPION it is necessary:

  • For females: 4 offspring-champions, born out of different stud dogs.
  • For males: 8 offspring-champions, born out of at least two different females.

FCI countries as well as AKC, KC, CKC titles are recognized.

 

Diplomas according to the present regulations are issued starting from 01.01.2019.

 

 

Special titles for the breeds that have National Breed Club:

 

NATIONAL BREED CLUB CHAMPION (CH CLUB RUS)

To obtain the title of National Breed Club Champion it is necessary:

  • For the dogs, registered in RKF Stud book: 4 Candidate to Club Champion certificates awarded by 4 different judges.

2 out of the 4 certificates should be awarded at special RKF National Breed Club shows;

2 more certificates may be awarded both at special shows and in special breed rings (specialty) at RKF CACIB dog shows or at CAC shows for particular groups.

  • For the dogs, registered in the Stud books of other FCI countries, or AKC, KC, CKC:

1 Candidate to Club Champion certificate and a National Breed club champion certificate/diploma of the country of residence (in case this National Breed Club issues the titles to Russian Breed Club Champions on the basis of one CAC of the club).

 

Special conditions:

  • for the dogs, who have National Breed Club Winner (of the year) certificate, awarded at the yearly national show, 1 Candidate to Club Champion certificate, awarded by another judge at any special RKF Breed Club special show or in a special breed ring is sufficient to obtain the title of National Breed Club Champion;
  • at the yearly national club show «National Breed Club Winner (of the year)» Candidate to Club Champion certificate is equal to 2 Candidate to Club Champion certificates, СС is equal to Candidate to Club Champion certificate;
  • a CC awarded at any other special show after a dog, who has Club Champion title, the CC is considered as Candidate to Club Champion certificate;
  • a set of 3 CCs is counted as 1 Candidate to Club Champion certificate, no matter what titles has the dog, after which those CCs were obtained; this regulation may be used only once and in case all the 3 CCs are awarded by different judges that haven’t awarded Candidate to Club Champion certificate to the dog.

 

NB: in the breeds with working trials according to the FCI Nomenclature the title of National Breed Club Champion is issued only in presence of national or international working certificate in one of special tests. The list of special trials (tests) for each particular breed is set by National Breed Club and is approved by RKF.   

 

NATIONAL BREED CLUB JUNIOR CHAMPION (JCH CLUB RUS)

To obtain the title of National Breed Club Junior Champion it is necessary:

  • For the dogs, registered in RKF Stud book: 3 Candidate to Club Junior Champion certificates awarded by 3 different judges. 1 of the 3 certificates should be awarded at special RKF National Breed Club shows; 2 more certificates may be awarded both at special shows and in special breed rings (specialty) at RKF CACIB dog shows or at CAC shows for particular groups.
  • For the dogs, registered in the Stud books of other FCI countries, or AKC, KC, CKC:

1 Candidate to Club Junior Champion certificate and a National Breed club junior champion certificate/diploma of the country of residence (in case this National Breed Club issues the titles to Russian Breed Club Junior Champions on the basis of one JCAC of the club).

 

Special conditions:

  • at the yearly national breed club show «National Breed Club Winner (of the year)» Candidate to Club Junior Champion certificate is equal to 2 Candidate to Club Junior Champion certificates, JСС is equal to Candidate to Club Junior Champion certificate;
  • a JCC awarded at any other special show after a dog, who has Juniour Club Champion title, the JCC is considered as Juniour Candidate to Club Champion certificate;
  • a set of 3 JCCs is counted as 1 Juniour Candidate to Club Champion certificate, no matter what titles has the dog, after which those JCCs were obtained; this regulation may be used only once and in case all the 3 JCCs are awarded by different judges that haven’t awarded Juniour Candidate to Club Champion certificate to the dog.

 

NATIONAL BREED CLUB VETERAN CHAMPION (VCH CLUB RUS)

To obtain the title of National Breed Club Veteran Champion it is necessary:

  • For the dogs, registered in RKF Stud book: 3 Candidate to Club Veteran Champion certificates awarded by 3 different judges. 1 of the 3 certificates should be awarded at special RKF National Breed Club shows; 2 more certificates may be awarded both at special shows and in special breed rings (specialty) at RKF CACIB dog shows or at CAC shows for particular groups.
  • For the dogs, registered in the Stud books of other FCI countries, or AKC, KC, CKC:

1 Candidate to Club Veteran Champion certificate and a National Breed club Veteran champion certificate/diploma of the country of residence (in case this National Breed Club issues the titles to Russian Breed Club Veteran Champions on the basis of one VCAC of the club).

 

Special conditions:

  • at the yearly national club show «National Breed Club Winner (of the year)» Candidate to Club Veteran Champion certificate is equal to 2 Candidate to Club Veteran Champion certificates; VСС is equal to Candidate to Club Veteran Champion certificate;
  • a VCC awarded at any other special show after a dog, who has Veteran Club Champion title, the VCC is considered as Veteran Candidate to Club Champion certificate;
  • a set of 3 VCCs is counted as 1 Veteran Candidate to Club Champion certificate, no matter what titles has the dog, after which those VCCs were obtained; this regulation may be used only once and in case all the 3 VCCs are awarded by different judges that haven’t awarded Veteran Candidate to Club Champion certificate to the dog.

 

For the dogs, who were awarded their first Candidate to Club Champion certificate, Candidate to Club Junior Champion certificate, Candidate to Club Veteran Champion certificate before 31.12.2019  the relevant titles may be issued according to the old regulations (in the National Breed Club) on their owners’ choice. For the dogs, who were awarded their first certificate after 01.01.2020, the titles are issued according to the new regulations (in RKF).

 

 

Special titles for the breeds without National Breed Club:

 

BREED CHAMPION (BCH RUS)

To obtain the title of the Breed Champion it is necessary:

4 Candidate to Breed Champion certificates awarded by 4 different judges in special breed rings (specialty) at RKF CACIB dog shows or at CAC shows for particular groups; or at the national special breed show.

Special conditions:

– for the dogs, who have “Breed Winner (of the year)” certificate, awarded at the national breed show, 1 Candidate to Breed Champion certificate, awarded by another judge is sufficient to obtain the title of Breed Champion;

– at the national special breed show  “Breed Winner (of the year)”  Candidate to Breed Champion certificate is equal to 2 Candidate to Breed Champion certificates, CC is equal to Candidate to Breed Champion certificate;

– while issuing the title Breed Champion 3CCs are counted as 1 Candidate to Breed Champion certificate (only once).

 

NB: in the breeds with working trials according to the FCI Nomenclature the title of National Breed Club Champion is issued only in presence of national or international working certificate in one of special tests. The list of special trials (tests) for each particular breed is set by RKF Presidium.

 

BREED JUNIOR CHAMPION (BJCH RUS)

To obtain the title of the Breed Junior Champion it is necessary:

3 Candidate to Breed Junior Champion certificates awarded by 3 different judges in special breed rings (specialty) at RKF CACIB dog shows or at CAC shows for particular groups; or at the national special breed show.

Special conditions:

  • at the national special breed show “Breed Winner (of the year)” Candidate to Breed Junior Champion certificate is equal to 2 Candidate to Breed Junior Champion certificates; JCC is equal to Candidate to Breed Junior Champion certificate;
  • while issuing the title Breed Junior Champion 3JCCs are counted as 1 Candidate to Breed Junior Champion certificate (only once).

 

BREED VETERAN CHAMPION (BVCH RUS)

To obtain the title of the Breed Veteran Champion it is necessary:

3 Candidate to Breed Veteran Champion certificates awarded by 3 different judges in special breed rings (specialty) at RKF CACIB dog shows or at CAC shows for particular groups; or at the national special breed show.

Special conditions:

  • at the national special breed show “Breed Winner (of the year)” Candidate to Breed Veteran Champion certificate is equal to 2 Candidate to Breed Veteran Champion certificates; JCC is equal to Candidate to Breed Veteran Champion certificate.
  • while issuing the title Breed Veteran Champion 3VCCs are counted as 1 Candidate to Breed Veteran Champion certificate (only once).

 

The diplomas according to the present regulations are issued starting from 01.01.2019.

 

 

Cumulative titles for all the breeds

 

RUSSIAN GRAND CHAMPION (GCH RUS). To obtain the title of Russian Grand Champion it is necessary:

  • For the breeds having National Breed Club: RUSSIAN CHAMPION diploma and NATIONAL BREED CLUB CHAMPION diploma.
  • For the breeds without National Breed Club: RUSSIAN CHAMPION diploma and BREED CHAMPION diploma.

 

RUSSIAN JUNIOR GRAND CHAMPION (JGCH RUS). To obtain the title of Russian Junior Grand Champion it is necessary:

  • For the breeds having National Breed Club: RUSSIAN JUNIOR CHAMPION diploma and NATIONAL BREED CLUB JUNIOR CHAMPION diploma.
  • For the breeds without National Breed Club: RUSSIAN JUNIOR CHAMPION diploma and BREED JUNIOR CHAMPION diploma.

 

RUSSIAN VETERAN GRAND CHAMPION (VGCH RUS). To obtain the title of Russian Veteran Grand Champion it is necessary:

  • For the breeds having National Breed Club: RUSSIAN VETERAN CHAMPION diploma and NATIONAL BREED CLUB VETERAN CHAMPION diploma.
  • For the breeds without National Breed Club: RUSSIAN VETERAN CHAMPION diploma and BREED VETERAN CHAMPION diploma.

 

RUSSIAN ABSOLUTE CHAMPION (ACH RUS). To obtain the title of RUSSIAN ABSOLUTE CHAMPION it is necessary:

RUSSIAN GRAND CHAMPION diploma and RUSSIAN WORKING TRIAL CHAMPION diploma.

 

The diplomas according to the present regulations are issued starting from 01.01.2019.

 

NB: All the titles issued on the basis of a set of certificates are issued to a dog only once.

 

 

II. THE TITLES ISSUED ON RESULTS OF PARTICULAR DOG SHOWS

 

Titles for all the breeds:

 

EURASIAN WINNER [of the year] (EAW)

To obtain the title of Eurasian Winner it is necessary to have a certificate “Eurasia Winner” awarded at Eurasia dog show.

This certificate is awarded to the best male and best female in each breed.

 

EURASIAN JUNIOR WINNER [of the year] (EAJW)

To obtain the title of Eurasian Junior Winner it is necessary to have a certificate “Eurasia Junior Winner” awarded at Eurasia dog show.

This certificate is awarded to the best junior male and best junior female in each breed.

 

EURASIAN VETERAN WINNER [of the year] (EAVW)

To obtain the title of Eurasian Veteran Winner it is necessary to have a certificate “Eurasia Veteran Winner” awarded at Eurasia dog show.

This certificate is awarded to the best veteran male and best veteran female in each breed.

 

MOSCOW WINNER [of the year] (MW)

To obtain the title of Moscow Winner it is necessary to have a certificate “Moscow Winner” that is got at the “Moscow Cup/Mazover Memorial” dog show.

The certificate is awarded to the best male and best female in each breed.

 

MOSCOW JUNIOR WINNER [of the year] (MJW)

To obtain the title of Moscow Junior Winner it is necessary to have a certificate “Moscow Junior Winner” that is got at the “Moscow Cup/Mazover Memorial” dog show.

The certificate is awarded to the best junior male and best junior female in each breed.

 

MOSCOW VETERAN WINNER [of the year] (MVW)

To obtain the title of Moscow Veteran Winner it is necessary to have a certificate “Moscow Veteran Winner” that is got at the “Moscow Cup/Mazover Memorial” dog show.

The certificate is awarded to the best veteran male and best veteran female in each breed.

 

RUSSIAN WINNER [of the year] (RW)

To obtain the title of Russian Winner it is necessary to have a certificate “Russian Winner” that is got at Russia dog show.

This certificate is awarded to the best male and best female in each breed.

 

RUSSIAN JUNIOR WINNER [of the year] (RJW)

To obtain the title of Russian Junior Winner it is necessary to have a certificate “Russian Junior Winner” that is got at Russia dog show.

This certificate is awarded to the best junior male and best junior female in each breed.

 

RUSSIAN VETERAN WINNER [of the year] (RVW)

To obtain the title of Russian Veteran Winner it is necessary to have a certificate “Russian Veteran Winner” that is got at Russia dog show.

This certificate is awarded to the best veteran male and best veteran female in each breed.

 

The diplomas according to the present regulations are issued starting from 01.01.2019.

 

 

Special titles for the breeds, having National Breed Club:

 

NATIONAL BREED CLUB WINNER [of the year] (CW RUS)

To obtain the title of National Breed Club Winner it is necessary to have a diploma “Best Male” or “Best Female” of the breed awarded at the yearly national Breed Club dog show (National Breed Club Winner show).

 

NATIONAL BREED CLUB JUNIOR WINNER [of the year] (CJW RUS)

To obtain the title of National Breed Club Junior Winner it is necessary to have a diploma “Best Junior Male” or “Best Junior Female” of the breed awarded at the yearly national Breed Club dog show (National Breed Club Winner show).

 

NATIONAL BREED CLUB VETERAN WINNER [of the year] (CVW RUS)

To obtain the title of National Breed Club Veteran Winner it is necessary to have a diploma “Best Veteran Male” or “Best Veteran Female” of the breed awarded at the yearly national Breed Club dog show (National Breed Club Winner show).

 

The diplomas according to the present regulations are issued starting from 01.01.2020.

 

 

Special titles for the breeds without National Breed Club:

 

BREED WINNER [of the year] (BW RUS)

To obtain the title of Breed Winner it is necessary to have a diploma “Best Male” or “Best Female” of the breed, awarded at the yearly national breed show (Breed Winner show).

 

BREED JUNIOR WINNER [of the year] (BJW RUS)

To obtain the title of Breed Junior Winner it is necessary to have a diploma “Best Junior Male” or “Best Junior Female” of the breed, awarded at the yearly national breed show (Breed Winner show).

 

BREED VETERAN WINNER [of the year] (BVW RUS)

To obtain the title of Breed Veteran Winner it is necessary to have a diploma “Best Veteran Male” or “Best Veteran Female” of the breed, awarded at the yearly national breed show (Breed Winner show).

 

The diplomas according to the present regulations are issued starting from 01.01.2020.

 

All the applications are submitted and titles are issued at the RKF office if there are reports from the relevant dog shows. Certificates awarded at any dog shows are valid to meet requirements for issuing titles within 5 years.
