Dear interested parties,
Dear future exhibitors.
I would like to inform you that after lengthy deliberation, the management of our association has decided to change the date of FCI European Dog Show scheduled for May 2021.
This decision is a result of a very difficult and lengthy preparatory work.
I would like to thank my colleagues and decision-makers in the amendment for their constructive and helpful attitude and quick decision making.
I would personally like to thank:
Dr. Tamas Jakkel, President of FCI
Mr. Jorgen Hindse, President of FCI Europe Section
Dr. Zoltan Covasc, Government Commissioner
Mr. Gabor Ganczer, CEO of Hungexpo.
In our decision, we had to consider various factors, in addition to professional aspects, as well as significant financial issues.
The leadership of our association and the FCI European Dog Show organizing committee, in my opinion made a very good decision and have chosen a date that is unique, and we are confident that your stay in Budapest in 2021 will be a memorable event.
Our new date:
December, 28, 2021 – Grand Prix CACIB Show
December, 29-30-31, 2021 – FCI European Dog Show 2021.
The new date rises numerous questions regarding the judges’ appointments and other special shows accompanying the event (Interra Show, European Cup of FCI non-recognized breeds, World Cup for all Hungarian Breeds, Club Shows).
We would like to finalize the amended list of judges and daily programs in February and March.
The entry option will be launched on April, 5, 2021, of course making the above mentioned information public.
I ask all our dear future exhibitors, the vendors participating in the show with a trade stand, judge colleagues, and all interested parties to help us in this extraordinary situation.
On behalf of the Hungarian Kennel Club and the show organizing committee, I promise you that we will surprise you with a memorable FCI European Dog Show 2021 at the end of December.
Let’s celebrate New Year’s Eve together in the wonderful Budapest, after the closing Best in Show program with a fantastic New Year’s Eve party.
Andras Korozs, Hungarian Kennel Club President.
